The role of Master Scheduler reports to the General Manager.  

 

Responsible for schedule / batch compliance at both a local and factory level, you’ll ensure cohesion between local scheduling activity and overall operational plan.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep our people safe and deliver products right-first-time to schedule.
  • Design of top-level scheduling processes and procedures. Implementation and ongoing cadence
  • Setting bucket sizes, workable process capacities and communication of the resulting bottle necks
  • Synchronising production plans with any applicable purchasing activity i.e glazing and special item purchases
  • Setting and maintenance of internal kan-bans, components stocks and finished inventory
  • Translating medium and long term forecasts / customer requirement information into actionable factory demand
  • Key stake holder in strategic planning as a result of IBP
  • Maintenance of production BoM’s and writing off
  • OTIF and any delivery related reporting
  • Ensuring production plans are conducive to efficient plant output

 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Ability to champion the JELD-WEN Values
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • GCSE 'C' or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Highly motivated, with real passion for people and getting the job done
  • Numerate
  • Analytical - able to compare and contrast, data analysis
  • IT literate
  • Good communicator within and across teams at all levels
