JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Manager, Channel Sales to join our growing team.

 

External Job Description

THE ROLE

 

Responsible for increasing sales, profitability, and market share of company products in assigned region.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Establish an action plan to grow current business, obtain new business and successfully penetrate under-developed markets.
  • Pursue and develop impactful relationships with external customers.
  • Aggressively pursue and secure new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and achieve annual sales forecast and accurate budget proposals.
  • Recruit, interview and hire new employees and terminate employees per business requirements.
  • Lead, direct, manage, coach and develop employees so their efforts are focused on high selling activities in order to improve sales efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct annual employee evaluations that improve deficiencies and develop capabilities.
  • Approve and decline employee expenses and monitor employee performance of expenses to budget.
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Customer Relationship Management Software, Quick Quote, Other Electronic pricing methods (MQS/M2O, etc.), Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser.
  • The employee may be required to travel in support of sales, training, and service management. 50%+

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expected pay for this role is between $105,600.00 to $176,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
