Job Description: Work in pairs to grade finished door slab quality as it comes out of saw and transferred to pallet for shipping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Correct pallet and bottom sheet for slabs
  • Stack slabs uniformed
  • Communicate quality issues to operator
  • Ensure print string matches outfeed monitor
  • Move slabs to repair as needed
  • Assist in repair if needed during downtime
  • Housekeeping during downtime
  • Follow established company safety policy & procedure
  • Meet established efficiency, quality and production goals
  • Must be able to stand for duration of shift.
  • Work overtime including weekends as needed.
  • Detect and report defective and reject materials
  • Keep work area neat and organized during and at end of shift

 

Additional and Marginal Duties:

May be required to work or assist in other areas throughout the facility.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required: Safety toed footwear, Eye protection, Gloves, Hearing Protection

Performance Standards: Meet quality specifications, hourly targets, housekeeping during downtime                                                                                      

 

Hazards: Lifting, Pinch and impact
