Job Description: Responsible for the operation and set-up of the CNC KOMO and computer software. The KOMO operator coordinates the doors on the conveyors to the CNC. Operator must manually move core from stacks onto machine, run programs, stack core onto off-feed rollers, performing quality checks multiple times per shift. |

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Additional and Marginal Duties: May be required to work or assist in other areas throughout the facility.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required: |

Equipment Use: CNC, tape measure, conveyor and roll case, pneumatic system, electrical system, scissor lift, hand tools, hydraulic systems
|
||||
|
Performance Standards: Must be able route required number of blanks to maintain at least 100% efficiency while maintaining quality and customer requirements
|
||||
|
Hazards: Sharp tooling, vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, dust, heavy blanks (75 pounds), pinch points
|
||||
|
Outline of Process: The CNC operator is responsible for routing and processing core slabs for assembly in the lay-up department.
