  Your Role 

Pragmatic, process- and solution-oriented leader with tactical vision for the local plant in Lenti (Hungary) site, focused on daily operations tasks, with strong communication skills at all levels. 

Your Area of responsibility 

• Responsible for the day-to-day production operations business of JELD-WEN in Lenti /  Hungary (Zala) 
• Direct management of the operations business and the corresponding departments of prefabrication; press, surface and final assembly production and maintenance / technology/facility management
• Responsible for the productivity of the plant, incl. countermeasures for achieving cost efficiency and productivity increases targets year over year 

• Identify, support and prioritize all required investments CAPEX at Lenti plant in cooperation with the Plant Management Team
• Responsibility for compliance with risk management JELD-WEN Central Europe / EHS Managements for the entire operations business
• Support the future development of the IT-Landscape  for JELD-WEN  Lenti  (especially with regard to the efficient production processes) in coordination with the IT function 

• Support the plant related CI initiatives and program to increase productivity
• Direct reporting to Plant Manager 

Your Tasks 

• Manage production capacity balanced with customer demand ensuring quality and productivity goals by efficient use of all resources and achievement of expected operational results (KPI`s)
• Review continuous improvement and optimization of production workflows and systems to increase quality and cost efficiency
• Manage, control motivate and develop competences of the production orgnization  

• Cooperation with all other departments to assure the most cost efficient end-to-end process workflows including logistics with the areas of sales, customer service, purchasing, quality, HR and finance.
• Annual and rolling CAPEX planning and implementation at the Lenti site 
• Further development and consolidation of the IT landscape at the Lenti site in compliance with central requirements 
• Drive and control of the entire production planning at the Lenti plant 

• Planning and adherence to the plant budget 
• Productivity and Cost Report to the Plant Manager 

Your profile

• Degree in industrial engineering or engineering  
• approx. 10  years of professional experience, of which at least  5  years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry, desirable 2-5 years of experience in the management of direct production companies 
• Very strong leadership skills 
• Entrepreneurial thinking and trade,  "hands-on" menthality

• Experience abroad desirable 
• Excellent written and oral communication in German and English 
• Strong flexibility and commitment 
• Experience in planning and lean management
