At our Lenti production site, we are looking for a leadership personality with a strong sense of ownership and a genuine passion for developing people and operations.

Your Responsibilities – Strategic. Operational. Hands-On.

 

  • Manage and steer all strategic, tactical, and operational processes at our Lenti site (approx. 140 employees) to ensure efficient and effective plant operations
  • Achieve annual goals in line with budget agreements and company objectives
  • Lead and develop operational teams with full disciplinary and functional responsibility
  • Be regularly present on the shopfloor – coach, support, and guide your teams in daily operations
  • Actively step in and get involved in special situations – your team sees you lead by doing
  • Drive and oversee production projects in close collaboration with European JELD-WEN matrix functions and sites
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards, especially regarding EHS and warehouse operations
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives as part of global programs
  • Develop and retain essential skills and knowledge within your area of responsibility
 

 

 

Your Profile 

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (University or University of Applied Sciences)
  • Additional training in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or General Management is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a comparable leadership role, ideally in the wood processing industry and matrix organizations
  • Proven track record in developing technology strategies and managing complex, large-scale projects
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English (German is an advantage)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence others
  • Structured, solution-focused, and results-driven approach
  • Solid working knowledge of ERP systems (production planning modules) and MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
