Plant Manager - Lenti, Zala

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Plant Manager - Lenti, Zala to join our growing team.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing all strategic, tactical and operational processes and services at the Oettingen site for effective and cost-efficient operational management
• Achieving annual targets in accordance with the annual budget agreement
• Disciplinary and technical management of the operational teams at the Lenti production site (approx. 140 employees)
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legal requirements, particularly in the areas of EHS and warehousing
• Defining, managing, steering and monitoring production projects in cooperation with the European JELD-WEN matrix functions and sites
• Ensuring the availability of relevant knowledge through continuous development of competences in the area of responsibility
• Actively promoting and supporting continuous improvement and optimisation projects as part of group-wide programmes and initiatives

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering or business administration ( university or university of applied sciences)
• Training in industrial engineering, operations engineering, general management or similar
• At least 10 years of professional experience in a comparable function, ideally in the wood processing industry and in matrix organisations
• Experience in developing technology strategies and managing large and complex projects
• Business fluent in German and English (at least B2 level)
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• Structured, solution- and result-orientated way of working
• Comprehensive user knowledge of the production planning modules of ERP systems and MS Office applications (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
