OPEX Coordinator

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a OPEX Coordinator to join our growing team.

The position of LEAN/ CI Manager has significant strategic relevance - contributing to the continuous improvement and shaping of the productivity of the entire plant/site in Lenti.

Objective of the position

Monitoring, implementing and identifying projects in line with corporate strategy and economic aspects to achieve a competitive level of efficiency and quality.

Lead and support projects and initiatives to achieve targets and Lean implementation.

YOUR TASKS

- Analyzing complex processes and identifying and implementing improvement measures together with employees (including target achievement).

- Preparation, implementation and follow-up of improvement workshops in compliance with lean principles and application of lean tools

- Management of extensive Lean projects to increase competitiveness, coordination of project teams

- Preparation, tracking and communication / reporting of monthly results ( Scorecard and Operations Review presentation)

- Controlling of TOP projects at the site and ensuring productivity targets.

- Training and empowerment of the organization regarding Lean methods and project management

- Support in the ongoing development of standardized processes and tools

- Responsibility and support of CI managers in the various areas

- Training employees and managers in Lean Management and project management

- Ensuring the target achievement of a pipeline of productivity projects and the timeline of TOP projects

-Central point of contact for the productivity and project management process

YOUR PROFILE

- Completed higher education or studies in an engineering and/or economics field

- At least 3 years of experience in the implementation of Lean projects with proven project success in industry or consulting

- Very good knowledge of Lean Management and experience with the introduction and implementation of Lean principles, methods and tools

- Very good understanding of processes and organizational structures

- Comprehensive knowledge of project management

- Foreign languages: Business fluent in written and spoken English, plus German is an advanantage

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

- The job requires a high degree of persuasiveness and communication skills.

- In addition, a willingness to travel of max. 10% is expected.
