HSEQ Manager 

Your role

As HSEQ Manager, you get the opportunity to hold the responsibility for identifying, leading and supporting Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, activities in our manufacturing site located in Kuopio, where you will also join our Northern European HSEQ team, in ongoing sparring and development.

The HSEQ Manager reports directly to the local Factory Manager and is responsible for driving projects to accomplish our HSEQ goals within factory. Although there is no direct reports in this role, you will work closely with the factory team.

What your impact will be

• Drive and support HSEQ improvement projects in Kuopio Factory
• Follow up on progress on HSEQ performance and align according to corporate and local needs
• Engage in and drive HSEQ targets with the team
• Review, translate and improve training material and follow up on the progress
• Participate in audits and assessments
• Support the HSEQ Europe organisation in any HSEQ -related matters
• Ensure adherence to all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working in a similar HSEQ role, preferably within an international manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation, from shop floor to Factory Managers
• A university degree in occupational safety, health and/or environment management or the equivalent vocational qualification
• Experience working with Environmental projects
• Experience working with EHS reporting system
• Structured and analytical with exceptional attention to detail
• Possess a continuous improvement mindset and a pragmatic approach to assigned tasks
• Possess commitment and enthusiasm to drive change and results
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising accordingly and manage various stakeholder expectations
• Fluent in both written and spoken Finnish and English
