As a valued member of the Admin Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst – Admin will support the business by assisting in monthly accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, and planning in support of the US Admin departments with their SG&A Expenses.  This role will also assist in Customer Rebate reporting/analysis/tracking as well as capital projects/CIP budgets/tracking/capitalization of fixed assets and is heavily involved with sales and marketing teams for their reporting . This position will develop and enhance financial reporting and analysis of sales/marketing/admin departments, provide timely and insightful analysis to those teams, and assist in deployment of a strong internal control environment across our North America admin teams.


This position will be located in Klamath Falls, OR but could work out of Charlotte, NC if the right applicant is identified.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintain SGA accounting and standard accounting processes for fixed assets, CIP projects. Partner with sales, marketing and finance to enhance existing methodology for reporting and analysis.
  • Assists in the monthly accounting close, working with the admin departments, accounting and finance team as required. Reviews departmental statements for thoroughness and accuracy.  Assist with monthly management reporting.
  • Assist in development of financial preparation of capital and expense requests
  • Provide close financial support for the department managers, assisting them with SGA expense tracking/planning.
  • Leads support to achieve the SGA plan and productivity targets including validation of improvement initiatives, prioritization of projects and development of action plans.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and internal audit to improve the existing internal control environment. Identify areas of improvement and recommend improvements.
  • Provide audit support to external audit as requested for areas assigned, heavily related to customer rebates, accruals, prepaids, balance sheet validations and flux reporting.
  • Create/Maintain/Track and produce month end Journal Entry and reporting for Customer Annual Rebates.
  • Maintain/Track and produce month end entries related to capital display projects including expense to budget tracking, capitalization, amortization and retirements.
  • Maintain strong communication between the sales/marketing/executive teams, finance and accounting.
  • Work closely with NA FP&A on reporting requirements to ensure consistency across NA reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and other tasks in support of the business unit operations and finance staff as required.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


  • Strong financial acumen accompanied by knowledge of financial accounting, fixed asset accounting/controls, and internal control principles.
  • Experience in managing customer rebates is preferred.
  • Excellent data analytics skills including working with databases and BI tools, MS Office suite, high for Microsoft Excel.



Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant discipline required, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years corporate accounting experience
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP, OneStream preferred
