The Workers' Compensation Claims Administrator/Return to work Coordinator will handle the workers compensation administrative duties within the claims department. This includes support to the Director, Claim Management as well as VP Risk. Additionally, this position is accountable for the timely submission of Workers Compensation claims and supporting documentation.



  • Report new Worker Compensation claims to carrier/TPA
  • Coordinate with EH&S team to obtain all necessary information to report claim on timely basis
  • Complete wage statements
  • Set up protocol with medical facilities
  • Create Panels
  • Update Medcor and Carrier/TPA
  • Administer return to work program
    • Track lost time/modified duty days
    • Review and provide return to work documentation to TPA as well as field location.
    • Coordinate with field locations to locate temporary modified duty when applicable.
    • Update internal claim system with return-to-work efforts and claim status.


  • Other duties as assigned




  • Must have Workers Compensation claim handling experience.  Adjuster license a plus.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to prioritize and organize work and to respond to emails and requests in a timely manner – requires effective multi-tasking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Process safety management experience desired
  • Exemplary customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of return-to-work or job accommodation procedures
