As a valued member of the corporate administration accounting team, the Sr. Financial Accountant will be part of a team responsible for accurate and timely accounting and monitoring of company’s debt, derivatives, intercompany notes and interest, other assets and liabilities as assigned, as well as accounting for corporate cost centers.


This position will be located either in the Klamath Falls, OR accounting office or in the Charlotte, NC headquarter and reports to the Financial Controller. We are considering remote candidates as well.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities


  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as needed, including (but not limited to) debt, derivative, intercompany interest, accruals, investments, assigned cost centers.
  • Assist controller in the preliminary and annual audit performed by external auditors.
  • Assist controller with forecasting and budgeting.
  • Assist controller with quarterly reporting requirements and other special projects as assigned.
  • Period over period analysis as assigned.
  • Assist in and support preliminary and annual audits performed by external auditors.
  • Support internal controls as assigned

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and support organizational goals.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and to work well in collaborative group environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook,
  • Ability to work remotely, participate in online meetings and presentations, and report to a manager at another location.





Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

One to three years’ relevant experience and/or training.

Experience with Financial Accounting Software:  SAP is required , OneStream -  a plus
