Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Second Shift 

JELD-WEN is searching for an Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic with a proven 5 plus years of experience within the field. Experience must be in an Industrial/Manufacturing background. Must have extensive knowledge of Safety protocols and be able to work in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to perform schedule/unscheduled maintenance and installation task on the physical plant, equipment and machinery, according to standards. Position requires a demonstration of competency for all on-the-job- activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety and or quality. English and Spanish bilingual preferred but not required.

• Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks
• Performs schedule maintenance on plan equipment and machinery
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
• Troubleshoots (when necessary). Repairs, replaces work, defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Practices and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integra part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisors.
• Participate in trouble-shooting efforts to respond to equipment failures and or process deficiencies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and execution of corrective actions to minimize recurrence of unplanned shutdowns.
• Knowledge and ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast speed environment while maintaining a high level of safety.
