YOUR ROLE 

 

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for aligning Global / European business objectives with Employees and Management within their assigned sites.  The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. 

 
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Acts as a trusted advisor and coach to Managers, working with them to develop HR solutions to people related business challenges, leveraging other partners in HR where needed 

  • Identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objective 

  • Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, reorganisation actions, Trade Union and Works Council negotiations, absence management, talent acquisition and development, benefits and total rewards, Employee relations, Employee engagement, Diversity and Inclusion plans, performance management (PDP and PIP) plus HIPO identification 

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance 

  • Partner with Business Leaders for all Works Council related activities and initiatives 

  • Proactive consultation with Works Councils to ensure effective labour relations 

  • Ensure Works Council understands and supports the implementation of business practices and priorities 

  • Provide up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, developing or localizing HR guidelines and policies in line with current legislation and keeping up to date with modern HR procedures and best practice 

  • Use of HR systems (e.g. PeoplePoint) in compliance with business processes and SOX standards 

 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related field 

  • Country recognised HR professional qualification 

  • Minimum 3 years broad and progressive experience in human resources 

  • Experience in manufacturing and consulting Unions or Works Councils 

  • Experience of working with core HRIS and time and attendance systems, e.g. SAP and Kronos 

  • Written and spoken fluency in English and Czech required
