JBL Hawaii, a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and Hawaii’s largest distributor of Architectural Hardware and Materials, is currently seeking a Skilled Production Associate to work in our distribution facility.  JBL Hawaii is your full-service commercial and residential door and hardware supplier, serving Hawaii since 1968.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.

General Description of Duties:

• Operate small and large machines in the production of product
• Work on door assembly lines
• Inspect all product for quality
• Machining products for installation
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• Operating propane and electric forklift vehicles
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
• At least one year of previous work history.
• Manual labor work experience preferred.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Expected pay for this role is between $19.16 to $21.70 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
