At JELD-WEN, we're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Project Manager to lead cross-functional product development and product change initiatives across our Scandinavian business.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative European PMO team and play a key role in bringing new products and product improvements to market. You'll work with stakeholders across multiple functions and countries, helping to turn ideas into successful business outcomes while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.
The Role
We're looking for someone who can drive projects forward, influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions and bring people together to deliver results. You'll have exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to make a visible impact across the business.
Working within our European PMO function, you'll lead a portfolio of New Product Introduction (NPI), product development, product change and optimisation projects, ensuring alignment across Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Sales and Marketing.
What your impact will be:
- Lead cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development projects from concept through to launch.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers and action trackers.
- Coordinate project teams across multiple countries and business functions.
- Drive project governance through the European Tollgate process.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and support timely decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement of project management standards, tools and processes.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and escalation activities.
- Ensure projects meet commercial, quality, operational and technical objectives.
- Prepare and present project updates to leadership teams and governance boards.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 3+ years' project management experience within manufacturing, engineering, product development, or a similar environment.
- Proven experience leading NPI/NPD, Value Engineering, Compliance, or Operational Improvement projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills within a matrix organisation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a structured, analytical approach.
- Commercially focused, with a track record of delivering business value.
- Understanding of project governance and stage-gate processes.
- Experience with project planning tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (desirable).
- PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent certification (desirable).
- Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous.
