This is a unique opportunity for you to join our Northern Europe HR team in a key role as HR Business Partner for JELD-WEN Denmark, where you will support the performance and development of our sites in Herning, Sdr. Felding and Løgstør.

 

YOUR ROLE

 

At JELD-WEN Denmark, we operate three manufacturing sites in Herning, Sdr. Felding and Løgstør and employ approximately 630 dedicated and skilled people in daily operations. As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted business partner to the leaders and management team in all people and organisational related topics across our JELD-WEN Denmark sites.  You will be based at our site in Herning and be part of our Northern European HR Business Partnering team.


Reporting directly to the HR Director Northern Europe, the scope of the role is to support and ensure the organisational ability to realise the HR strategy in JELD-WEN Northern Europe. You will be implementing and driving HR processes both on a local and regional level.  Your role will be the focal point of information for all HR business partnering activities and HR related matters in JELD-WEN Denmark. We expect you to thrive in an engaging and empowering environment with the ability to support and challenge the development of managers and employees at all levels.  You will have great opportunities to actively participate in regional and global projects, and you will work closely with other key HR functions in a global matrix organisation; such as Rewards & Recognition, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensure the organisational ability to perform and realise JELD-WEN’s global strategy
  • Support the implementation of JELD-WEN’s long-range plans, policies and procedures in Denmark and Northern Europe
  • Act as a trustworthy and professional business partner to managers supporting them in all HR related topics throughout the employee life cycle
  • Support and advise managers in HR processes such as onboarding, workforce planning, performance management and competency development
  • Provide support to the functional management in hiring and retaining the best people to achieve our business goals
  • Lead and participate in HR-related projects at a local and regional level
  • Implement and facilitate JELD-WEN training programs and workshops
  • Maintain accurate and updated personnel records securing high master data and reporting quality
  • Collaborate closely with representatives from unions and cooperation committees
  • Comply with Policies and Procedures, including SOX regulations


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

 

  • Experience from a similar or managerial position, preferably in an international manufacturing and/or matrix environment
  • A university degree in HRM, organisational psychology or similar
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of HR disciplines such as talent attraction, talent management, performance management and organisational development
  • Proven and documented success in business partnering with the ability to collaborate with and inspire stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Well-accustomed to working in an international, fast-paced environment with many various stakeholders and can keep the focus on the essential in projects and deliveries
  • Working experience with Danish employment law, collective bargaining agreements and collaboration/negotiation with unions
  • You are focused on adding value to the business with a proactive and hands-on approach
  • Resilient and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge yourself and your stakeholders
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written Danish and English is a prerequisite for this role
