Electronics and Instrumentation Technician

Requirements:

2-Year Associates degree in Electronic Technology, or 2 Year Associates degree in Electromechanical Technology, or equivalent job experience.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of PLC programing and troubleshooting PLC circuits.

Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, and electrical wiring of 480V 3 phase.

Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Mechanical maintenance on equipment, equipment inspections, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment to support production needs.

Ability to fabricate components for equipment, perform welding, plumbing, and carpentry work.

Maintenance on buildings and grounds as needed.

Other:

Understands and applies all safety rules, including Lockout / Tagout, etc.

Good communication skills with team members, machine operators and co-workers.

Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Keeps shop and work areas clean and orderly.
