About us and YOUR ROLE

At JELD-WEN Sweden, we operate two manufacturing sites: Åstorp and Forserum where we produce our quality doors to a broad range of consumers within both the private and public segment. Furthermore, we have an internal sales and support function located in Huskvarna. JELD-WEN Sweden consists of approximately 750 dedicated employees in daily operations and approximately 7000 across Europe.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager Sweden and Norway, the scope of your role is to provide professional HR support and sparring to the operational leadership team on all HR related topics throughout the employee life cycle. This could be onboarding, workforce planning, performance management and competency development. This way you will play a key role in supporting managers on a day-to-day operational level as well as on implementing the overall business strategy.

 

Your role will consist of three main elements:

• You will be responsible for selected parts of the organization and act as their point of contact. This includes being an active part of the local management team.

• Second, you will work with implementing and driving HR processes and projects, acting as a trusted partner to the Swedish leaders and management teams on these topics.

• Third, the role will have an administrative element around maintaining accurate and updated personnel records securing high master data and reporting quality.

 

You will be working closely with the HR Manager Sweden and Norway and be a focal point of information and HR related matters. You need to develop relationships as a trusted advisor through the ability to support and challenge managers and employees at different levels. You will be part of a team in Sweden consisting of two payroll colleagues and the HR Manager. In our team we have an engaging and empowering environment, and you will have great opportunities to actively participate in projects across JELD-WEN. Furthermore, you will work closely with other key HR functions in a global matrix organization, such as Rewards & Recognition, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition.

 

YOU AS A CANDIDATE

You hold a Master’s degree within Business, HRM or an equivalent discipline. You have some experience as HR Business Partner/Consultant or from HR Project Management. Ideally from a production or international environment working with a variety of stakeholders. Besides your empathetic personality you have lots of drive and are eager to create results, short and long term. You thrive with a broad variety of tasks and have a keen interest for people, organization, and business. You build strong and relations while being aware of the value of taking a stand. As JELD-WEN operates in an international organization and environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken.
