JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Director, Retail Sales to join our growing team.
THE ROLE
Responsible for increasing sales, profitability, and market share of JELD-WEN and ABS/MMI products to The Home Depot and Lowe’s nationwide.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the performance of all products and services in the JELD-WEN and distribution portfolio that are sold through The Home Depot and Lowe’s. This includes overall sales, product category sales, new products, program management and key sales initiatives.
- Management of national field sales team consisting of 5 regional leaders and approximately 50 indirect sales professionals.
- Responsible for team administration including the development and management of sales budgets, expense budgets and expense forecasts and be accountable for the performance.
- Monitor, evaluate and create action plans for the development and continuous improvement of your team and sales.
- Work cross functionally with account teams, marketing, CX, business development and other in service to accounts.
- Utilize data analytics to better understand and make informed data-driven decisions to develop appropriate action plans to achieve goals.
- Maintain competitive intelligence in the marketplace and develop intelligence to be able to formulate effective strategies and action plans to effectively compete and communicate key findings and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.
- Create short and long-term team strategies to grow current business and successfully penetrate under-developed markets.
- Manage projects, requests for information and any other business items as requested by leadership.
- Support account teams with merchant presentation content and meeting participation including but not limited to yearly partnership meetings and quarterly business meetings.
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program to improve team’s business operations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong character, ethics, organization, emotional intelligence, communication, and critical thinking skills are required.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and presentation documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Customer Relationship Management software, Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser.
- Travel required: 25% or greater.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of ten years related sales experience and/or training preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expected pay for this role is between $152,300.00 to $253,800.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
