The Menards onsite demand planning analyst works directly with the customer to provide recommendations and support as it relates to forecasting, replenishment, and inventory management. This person will collaborate with the Menards analysts to ensure sales and inventory expectations are being met.  This role is a key contributor in the JELD-WEN IBP process ensuring Menards’ demand forecast is accurately represented.  This position is based at the Menards Onsite Vendor Building in Eau Claire, WI and will require limited travel.


Primary Responsibilities Include:
•    Serve as the main point of contact for replenishment needs
•    Maximize inventory turns, fill rates, and service levels through improved forecasting and communication Create, analyze, and communicate weekly and monthly business reports for key stakeholders
•    Plan and execute product transitions to minimize mark downs and obsolescence
•    Collaborate with the JELD-WEN team on upcoming promotions and ensure adequate inventory is ordered to support these events. Review and communicate promotional performance along with any insights
•    Monitor accuracy of forecast and communicate forecast with Menards and JELD-WEN teams Proactively find cause and solutions for out of stock problems
•    Complete 8-week Menards training to learn their internal ordering processes and expectations.
•    Collaborate with sales and category management to gather insight and align on monthly demand plan; maintain 24-month demand plan and communicate during monthly IBP demand reviews
•    Track demand consumption and provide oversight over daily inventory ordering, actively influencing demand coordinating strategies to support the customer


•    Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy critical to building credibility Ability to present to, and influence others at all levels
•    Desire to operate and function within a fast paced, customer focused organization/role 
•    Demonstrated background with problem solving and a mindset for continuous improvement 
•    Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to drive competing priorities 
•    Functional knowledge of demand planning, logistics, retail analysis and production planning
•    Pro-active, self-starter able to prioritize the needs of the customer


Required Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree, Business background preferred 
•    Sales or supply chain analyst background preferred
•    Retail experience in home center channel is desirable but not required
•    Strong proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Analysis tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, Power BI) 
•    Prior experience in Microstrategy a plus
