JELD-WEN Windows & Doors, Canada’s leading window & door brand, are currently seeking an individual for the following position at our Winnipeg Branch to work in a team environment providing exceptional service to our customers:

 

Customer Care Representative

 

The position is centered on providing exceptional warranty service to our Dealers, Home Builders, Contractors and their customers by managing warranty claims that may require repairing or replacing window and door products. You will be part of a dynamic team of individuals committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.

The typical duties would include:

· Gather and assess information to make appropriate warranty determinations.

· Process warranty requests according to standard operating procedures.

· Communicate all relevant information pertaining to the claim to the homeowner, builder, or dealer as required.

· Work with Field Technicians to determine the best approach for a long-term solution to the claim.

· Order service parts and products required to repair windows and doors.

· Liaise with internal departments such as Sales, Purchasing or Production.

· Follow Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

· Assist Department Manager and team with departmental process improvements.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

· Must be an effective communicator, with strong verbal, written and listening skills. Must speak clearly and persuasively in all situations.

· Must be organized with ability to prioritize daily tasks and urgencies.

· Must be able to focus on the task at hand in a fast paced environment

· Strong attention to detail.

· Must take ownership of tasks and display and promote a positive attitude.

· Must be a team player and contribute to building a positive team spirit.

· Must have proven problem solving abilities and be solutions oriented.

· Meets challenges with resourcefulness and get it done attitude.

· Must be reliable with a dependable nature.
