Your Role

Our longstanding and successful site in Penrith has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional. Ideally suited to a HRBP who would like to work for an organisation where you can really make a difference and contribute to the future of the site. The successful candidate would be responsible for aligning global / European business objectives with employees and management within their assigned site. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Working with key stakeholders to provide HR support and enable improvements in business engagement and performance.
  • Ensure service delivery of fundamental HR processes, supported with the use of metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Delivering key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, Trade Union negotiations, absence management, talent acquisition, benefits, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion plans and performance management.
  • Provide accurate people data with appropriate analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Utilise HR dashboards / reports and subsequently analyse data.
  • Providing support and management of disciplinary and grievance cases, working with investigating, hearing and line managers to provide policy support and advice.

 

Your Experience

  • A generalist HR background with a proven track record of delivering at a HR Business Partner level.
  • Experience of project management and prioritising deliverables to independently manage multiple business change projects and day to day operations.
  • Relationship building skills with the ability to communicate and liaise at all levels.
  • A working knowledge of employment law
  • CIPD qualified
