FLT / Forklift Driver (no experience needed)

HIRING NOW - JELD-WEN Penrith is currently looking for a full-time FORKLIFT DRIVER to join our growing team.

Candidates without a licence will be considered, as full training can be provided. 

£12.50 to £14.43 per hour

Penrith

Immediate start available

3 shift rota

Mon to Fri only

Full time, permanent contract

Overtime available at enhanced rates

This position works on a shift basis and candidates must be willing and able to commit to any of the shift patterns operated on site.

The shifts are on a rotating 3 Shift pattern Days 6-2pm, Afters 2pm-10pm and Nights 10-6am.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Forklift Driver you will be working within a fast-paced production environment and your duties will be as followed:

• Operating an FLT in a busy manufacturing environment
• General warehousing duties
• Working safely at all times
• Booking in and out of stocks
• Stock rotation
• Servicing the main factory lines with materials
• Loading and unloading of wagons

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• A high commitment to working safely and to an extremely high standard
• Ability to use own initiative appropriately
• A keen eye for detail
• Highly motivated with a willingness to address and resolve issues
