Pricing Coordinator

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Pricing Coordinator to join our growing team.

 

THE ROLE

As a valued member of the Marketing team, the Pricing team will perform various analytical and transactional duties within the Pricing Group.  This position requires the individual to be analytical, detailed oriented, and organized with the ability to apply critical thinking, perform under pressure and interact well with internal and external customers.  

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain price drivers, SKU items, pricing groups and book code data in Titan system.
  • Analyze, draft and maintain internal/external price pages, price books, and spec pages.   
  • Maintain all discount, price version, and promo code data for window and door entities.   
  • Provide Titan, Quick Quote, and Paradigm analytical support; provide workbooks for testing (Windows & Doors); Apply standard testing protocols to all catalogs released for pricing sign-off. 
  • Provide JWIT Service Now support for pricing related cases. Work with internal teams to resolve and analyze discrepancies. 
  • Engage in weekly meetings concerning strategy, process and provide updates to relevant teams.   
  • Provide pricing/costing support, costing support, run costed BOM’s, run Item, Pricing and Sales reports for pricing information as needed. 
  • Attribute and maintain items for item.cust, both stock and ecommerce for all channels.  
  • Follows SOX protocols for recording maintenance of pricing data. 
  • Daily analysis of the Price Discrepancy Report: evaluate price discrepancies; determine underlying or potential issues; review multiple catalogs between systems and communicate findings to relevant departments; create Service Now tickets.
  • Analyze suspended orders due to front end controls, assess cause of issue and report to relevant departments. 
  • Preapprove all sales requests for price changes in Salesforce.   

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Be knowledgable on pricing process and requirements for changes. Escalate any problems concerning feasibility of requests and any potential problems.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend instructions, reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal/external stakeholders 
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and calculate items (discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.). 
  • Ability to deal with practical problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  
  • Ability to assess and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
  • Strong knowledge of plant build requirements, custom specifications, product knowledge and pricing theory knowledge. 
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.  
  • Build knowledge and familiarity of Quick Quote, Paradigm, ServiceNow, Salesforce and Qlikview. 
  • Ability to focus in a remote environment. Engage daily in email and Teams. 

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree from college or university in business or related field (Bachelor’s preferred); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
  • Product or industry knowledge (Windows and Doors) preferred.

Expected pay for this role is between $25 to $30 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
