Special Orders Expeditor

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Special Orders Expeditor to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

As a Special Orders Expeditor, you will be responsible for assisting with late order prevention, recovery, and scheduling of orders. In this role, you will monitor and respond to merchant escalations and customer service. You will report directly to the Office Manager.

The position will be onsite and based in the Chiloquin, OR facility.

What You Will Do 

• Monitors special order material, communication with sourcing on late materials
• Dates orders in correspondence of arrival of materials
• Assigns orders on past load dates to new dates and send ACK.
• Generates shipping tallies/ready to ship orders
• CTI notes in orders
• Send external and intercompany communications to locate status of orders
• Follows up with production on missed shipments S.O.’s that were declared “not done” at time of loading
• Assist with TMS scheduling and exporting
• CASS freight payment approvals
• Greet vendors/visitors; answer/transfer incoming calls
• File management
• Perform data entry and other clerical functions 
• Separate and distribute loading tallies daily

Who You Are

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on professional business demeanor, communication, and customer service.
• Prioritization, project coordination, and collaboration skills required
• Must be detail oriented.  
• Must be available to work on Saturday (occasionally)

How You Stand Out

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills.
• Keen understanding of confidentiality; ability to manage sensitive information with tact and discretion.
