Summary: Responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Human Resources Manager by processing employee record changes, maintaining accurate files / HRIS data, and all other HR-related functions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


  • Administers and maintains employee files and HRIS data entry for all hourly employees; processing employment changes to personal information; ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Prepares final check data and termination paperwork
  • Prepares HR reports as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Prepares and assists with all new employee packages (benefits, new hire paperwork, etc.) and conducts all new hire onboarding
  • Assist with plant recruiting as needed
  • Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries
  • Participates in projects and team initiatives as needed
  • Handles all information in a confidential manner while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Other duties as needed



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience using Kronos preferred.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong soft skills preferred
  • Familiarity with applications of state, federal, local, employment and wage laws
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to accuracy for data entry with timely follow-through
  • Keen understanding of confidentiality; ability to manage sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Prioritization, time management and collaboration skills required
