Your role:


Your role is Managing the product portfolio in France, supporting creation and execution of the product line strategy and delivering growth above market.

You will drive all relevant projects necessary for the future success of the category. Based on strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the market, and your experience in sales/marketing, you will work cross-functionally and be responsible for all launch activities of new product.  As well as managing the portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle. Additionally, you will be accountable for the business success of the product line in your market.

What your impact will be:


  • Supporting the Product Line Manager in creation and delivery of product line strategy
  • Implementing and delivering category product plans through close collaboration with local cross-functional teams
  • Managing the product portfolio throughout the lifecycle, focusing on delivery of both revenue and profitability goals
  • To ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
  • Support the Product Line Manager in creation of product line strategy and annual budgets
  • Identify opportunities for new products & solutions, develop outline value propositions and champion new projects through Gate 0
  • Manage the process of product retirement, including exit plans, stock & SKU management
  • Define the price position & service offer for all new products
  • Identify and implement actions to optimise contribution margin through the lifecycle



What you'll need to succeed:


  • Previous experience of Product Management, ideally in the building materials or other B2B industrial markets
  • Experience of working in a multi-national, matrix organisation
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills and a good communicator in French and basic English language – support can be provided for English lessons
  • Willingness to be on site in Eauze 3 days a week, relocation package is available
