JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team.

 

Summary:

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing on JELD-WEN’s efforts to find, attract, and hire talent for assigned business units or territory. The role is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, assessing and referring applicants predominantly for production positions, while supporting sourcing for professional and managerial roles throughout the company, focused on the North America region. Areas of sourcing and recruiting operations focus will include manufacturing, operational and support positions. This ideal candidate for this position will possess experience in creative sourcing strategies, effective interviewing and assessment techniques, and working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures, and federal / state employment regulations. They should be adept at engaging candidates and delivering excellent client service, while adhering to best practice processes and delivering on recruiting KPIs. They will be dynamic, professional and highly effective at juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.  Must have excellent attention to detail and be strong in executing administration management tasks such as creating and analyzing reports.      

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

 

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to analyze and execute on organizational staffing requirements and formulate a creative and effective sourcing and recruiting strategy.
  • Manage the complete end-to-end Recruiting process, including manager in-take process, sourcing and screening of candidates, recruiting and scheduling of interviews, and acting as an active coordinator between management and the candidate to ensure an excellent candidate experience.
  • Identify, engage, and recruit qualified candidates using internal / external databases, market and internet research cold calling, referral recruiting, networking and affiliation connections and online social networking.  
  • Execute and implement appropriate recruiting techniques for JELD-WEN.
  • Support campus recruiting strategy and represent company at career fairs, open days and events at locations nationally, in addition to providing logistical support and administration 
  • Provide periodic reports and presentations on talent acquisition activities, as directed by TA management. 
  • Evaluate and analyze data and metrics in relation to established Talent Acquisition goals and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Recommend process improvements, advanced recruiting approaches, and staffing best practices to increase the effectiveness of the team.
  • Participate in staff meetings, and perform special projects as determined or directed by management.

 

  Qualifications:

  • Expectation of Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Business or Management, other relevant qualifications or experience accepted in lieu of degree 
  • Expectation of 2+ years' or equivalent range of progressive human resources or recruiting roles with a breadth of high-volume responsibilities
  • Experience with ATS systems, SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment an advantage. Must be available to travel nationally, approximately 25% of time and up to 50% at peak times
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, juggle competing priorities and successfully deliver high quality outcomes
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and rigor in work product quality
  • PHR and/or SPHR certifications or other relevant professional qualifications desirable.
  • Experience in “full cycle” recruiting roles or proven capabilities across multiple areas of HR
  • Direct candidate sourcing expertise, utilizing a range of methods and approaches.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers, in addition to being relied on by TA and HR Business Partners
  • Strong follow-up, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly proficient in software applications, including internet and technology-based recruiting solutions.
  • Advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills - must be able to create and deliver high-quality presentations and reports
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality

Expected pay for this role is between $50,200.00 to $83,600.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
