JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing team. 

 

Summary:

 

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Pre-employment Specialist provides support to the Talent Acquisition team, with a focus on recruiting coordination, oversight of pre-employment hiring processes, and other operational and administrative duties as assigned. This role with oversee the background and drug screening pre-employment program and supports the recruiters in scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate travel, and completing candidate travel reimbursements, as well as other actions related to the overall acquisition of talent for Jeld-Wen.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide overall coordination and support for North America Talent Acquisition team for interview scheduling, pre-employment processes, onboarding, reporting, and other daily TA activities.
  • Manage daily activities for pre-employment screenings including background checks, drug and health screens, reporting/tracking screening results, and other administrative activities related to system procedures.
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate travel and complete related expense reimbursements.
  • Produce reports related to open roles, monthly key indicators and metrics, and expenses.
  • Assist with and maintain I-9 and E-Verify compliance as needed.
  • Respond to queries from human resource managers, related to talent acquisition processes, tools and general activities that lead to highest quality recruitment.
  • As needed, arrange candidate assessments, and track completion and results.
  • Maintain applicant/employee confidentiality in accordance with our data protection policy and procedures.
  • As needed, facilitate new hire processing and Day One administration / new hire paperwork.
  • Work within the Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors) to provide overall transparency into candidate management.
  • Handle all recruitment queries in a responsive, customer-focused way; provide comprehensive “first-line” support / information.
  • Provide excellent customer service to external and internal candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain awareness of own developmental needs and undertake appropriate training as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of direct Talent Acquisition support preferred in the areas of administrative and operations.
  • Experience with basic recruiting and human resource activities.
  • Experience in a corporate recruiting environment preferred.
  • Executive recruiting support and onboarding a plus.
  • Experience providing support for pre-employment background checks and drug screens preferred.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong self-organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Experience in creating high level presentations preferred.
  • Experience initiating and managing complex travel schedules for executives, visitors, etc.
