JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Summer Internship 2025 - Finance FinTech, CLT, NC to join our growing team. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of six potential business areas. This position is focused on the Finance business area. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.   

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

In the past, our interns have had the opportunity to:  

• Perform reporting and analysis for JELD-WEN’s Finance Shared Service systems and processes such as OneStream, SAP implementation, Concur, UKG and systems related to the Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions  

• This position will be responsible for assisting in new implementation builds, assisting the project management function, and change management aspects of Finance Shared Services related projects  

• The intern will work with multiple teams including business end users, Payroll, HR, Legal and IT to maintain and support the applications and interfaces  

• Provide technical and functional support to internal business partners for all system issues  

• Work with other IT business partner teams and external partner teams to define, document, analyze and prioritize existing and emerging business requirements  

• Work with business partners for problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, problem and incident management  

• Develop and (on a regular basis) report key performance indicators and other exception reporting for compliance and to identify process improvement opportunities  

• Assist in project implementation or enhancement testing and upgrades  

• Analyze current process in Financial Shared Services and recommend improvements

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION 

Required 

Currently enrolled rising junior or senior students majoring in: Business related majors 

• Proficient in reporting and data analytics 

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency 

• Demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and work to a high caliber 

• Work well collaboratively in a team setting  

• Relevant major or academic work completed.  

Recommended  

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 

• Relevant internship or previous work experience  

• Leadership experience and relationship-building skills
