JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Summer Intern 2024 - Marketing to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

              The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of six potential business areas. This position is focused on the Marketing business area. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO          

In the past, our interns have had the opportunity to:

• Gain a general knowledge of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
• Create new IBP process for upstream synchronization of supply, demand, and finance.
• Build out a synchronization process map to decrease forecast inaccuracy, lost sales, inferior service levels, and off process data work.
• Conduct audits of JW.com, Brand Store, Pinterest, and brochures to help marketing team keep track of and update content.
• Organize and add to social calendar to allow accessibility to content.
• Sort through leads and enter order statuses into excel.
• Create a synchronization docket to identify areas through the supply review that need to be synchronized in other sections of the IBP core function.
• Engage and assist customers through social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

• Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and work to a high caliber.
• Collaboration and teamwork.
• Leadership experience and relationship-building skills.
• Relevant major or academic work completed.

Recommended

• Rising Senior students (current Juniors)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Relevant internship or previous work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
