JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Summer Intern 2024 - Information Technology to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

              The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of six potential business areas. This position is focused on the Information Technology business area. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO          

In the past, our interns have had the opportunity to:

• Develop and enhance the User Interface on our on-premise application sites with applications delivery team by working on user stories.
• Prepare Business and Systems Requirements Documents for the application developments on the User Interface to provide detailed information on the resources and logics used for the development.
• Create testing plans and conduct local testing for the application developments to ensure an error free product and user satisfaction.
• Maintain a consistent communication between the onshore and offshore teams.
• Attend daily standups with the team to report enhancements on tasks.
• Coordinate communication with business officials while listening to their needs and suggestions to help better the business.
