THE ROLE

 

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, Executive Recruiting is responsible for leading JELD-WEN’s efforts to attract and hire senior leadership talent, primarily Director/VP level and above, across all business functions for North America. This role provides a comprehensive approach and strategy to both recruit external talent as well as support internal growth & mobility for senior leadership opportunities. This role serves as an ambassador for JELD-WEN not only for open positions but when proactively engaging referrals and candidates for potential future opportunities.  

 

As a valued member of the Talent Acquisition  team, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, Executive Recruiting focuses on quality without sacrificing speed to attract first-rate talent and ensure lasting and successful hires. This individual owns the end-to-end recruiting process for leadership talent. The high touch support model includes collaborating to create success profiles, selecting interview panels & ensuring alignment, proactively sourcing & evaluating candidates, presenting a diverse candidate slate, & managing through decision, offer and candidate onboarding. Critical to success is the ability to build business acumen, qualify the talent needs, develop strong relationships, and deliver results to address our Sr. Leadership talent needs

 

This position will be located in Charlotte, NC and reports to the Global Director of Talent Acquisition.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Support the strategy and execution of Leadership recruitment for North America ensuring alignment to hiring goals
  • Partner with HR & Business Leaders to understand current & future business needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract & hire top leadership talent
  • Capture & analyze market data & insights including company & industry research to help define recruiting strategy and develop target search lists
  • Develop networking & recruitment marketing strategies to proactively develop a pipeline and nurture relationships with Leadership talent over time
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to align on job expectations and ensure candidates are assessed against the appropriate criteria
  • Manage high touch recruiting process including proactive communication, progress updates, continuous refinement & alignment to meet business objectives, as well as employing appropriate level of discretion as needed for confidential searches
  • Conduct thorough screening interviews, using behavioral techniques to assess complex competencies and skill sets
  • Prepare candidate summaries and submit slate of candidates with recommendation to HR & Hiring Manager
  • Effectively manage 3rd party staffing vendors on a strategic basis, act as liaison, monitor performance and manage service delivery
  • Utilize tools & resources including Applicant Tracking system, HRIS systems, and sourcing tools to manage the recruiting process, track hiring activity and ensure compliance
  • Evaluate and analyze data and metrics in relation to established Talent Acquisition goals and Key Performance Indicators to drive recruiting strategy
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for both Candidate and Hiring Manager throughout the recruiting process ensuring an Exceptional experience for both
  • Manage activities in accordance with our standardized recruiting processes and our global strategy

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

 

  • Demonstrated experience operating and influencing strategically at all levels across cross-functional partners
  • Highly skilled in behavioral interviewing techniques, with the ability to assess & qualify candidates across functions & industries, for highly complex/global leadership roles
  • Adept at employing advanced multi-channel, data driven sourcing skills & techniques
  • Ability to not only identify passive candidates, but skilled in developing a strong value proposition to attract & engage highly competitive top talent
  • Driven to deliver results and meet recruiting goals & metrics
  • Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment recommendations and follow through with metric-driven execution
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key partners such as Executive Leadership, Executive Assistants and HR Business Partners
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present information in a meaningful way
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Applicant Tracking systems & sourcing tools (SAP Success Factors preferred but not required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Min 8 years recruiting experience, including at least 2 years successfully recruiting for Sr. Leadership/Executive talent   
  • Demonstrated success cultivating competitive leadership talent pools for current and future Executive Leadership opportunities within an organization
