Sr. Pricing Analyst

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst to join our growing team. 

THE ROLE

Jeld-Wen is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst adept at consolidating disparate data, conducting root cause analysis, formulating hypotheses, and producing visual reporting for organizational insights. This individual will operate as an independent contributor, proficient in handling large datasets from multiple sources, fostering collaboration across functions, and building visualization dashboards to help drive transformative initiatives. The role embodies a blend of analytics translation, data aggregation, and collaborative partnership, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Pricing Analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in piloting the development of new analytics, automation, and reporting initiatives aimed at enhancing decision-making, achieving strategic pricing objectives, and improving team efficiency.
• Apply analytical techniques and tools to integrate data from multiple sources, assessing the effectiveness of pricing strategies and programs while identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement and margin improvement.
• Demonstrate proactivity and a willingness to challenge conventional practices, actively contributing to the ideation of innovative approaches to ongoing challenges.
• Effectively communicate and translate data into insights and recommendations for the business.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficient in analytics, possessing prior experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships, effectively collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels and external customers.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate and comprehensive completion of data requests while managing multiple projects.
• Skilled communicator, capable of articulating technical data in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience conducting data analysis and constructing models using SQL, Excel, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Alteryx, or equivalent software.
• Possesses an analytical mindset focused on process and data analysis, adept at extracting useful information from complex data and processes, identifying gaps, proposing conclusions, and supporting decision-making processes.

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of relevant pricing, business intelligence, and analytics experience (manufacturing industry preferred).
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, data analytics or a related field.
• Experience in developing visual dashboards and working with diverse data sources.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, Alteryx, R, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar analytical tools.
• Preferred experience with a modern pricing or price optimization platform.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI & SAP.
