JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Sales Incentive Program to join our growing team.
THE ROLE
The Senior Manager for the Sales Incentive Program (SIP) will oversee the sales compensation plans and administrative team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and administer effective sales incentive programs to drive desired business results. In this role, you will manage the analysis, implementation, communication, administrative, and validation of all sales incentive programs.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and administer sales incentive plans through JELD-WEN’s incentive management tool, ensuring alignment with business goals, targets, and policies.
- Collaborate with sales incentive team, HR, and sales leaders on the quarterly and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate payout processing and performance tracking.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures related to the administration of the sales incentive program as well as coordination with legal and HR teams on plan documentation and language.
- Engage with sales leaders to define measurable and reportable sales metrics based on the sales roles within the organization and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance to sales leaders on exception requests and ensure accurate documentation is completed to support.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders in researching, addressing, and resolving payment issues, and develop processes to avoid future issues.
- Provide sales teams with comprehensive training and enablement materials on sales incentive plans and progress tracking.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement and lead cross functional efforts to implement.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing multiple data sets from various sources accurately and efficiently utilizing Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other sales incentive management software solutions.
- Ability to manage complex sales incentive plans with multiple sales metrics and performance goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable with communicating with all levels of leadership.
- Proven ability to lead both direct reports and cross-functional project teams.
- Confidence in providing subject matter expertise to sales leaders and other high-level colleagues.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of work experience in sales incentive compensation.
- Strong skills in analytic and sales incentive management tools (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Xactly experience a plus).
- Highly organized, meticulous, and ability to adapt in ambiguous situations.
