Purpose of Position

As a valued member of the IT Corporate Functions team, the Senior Project Manager will partner with the Human Resources, Communications, Legal, Finance, and Procurement functions to deliver multiple time sensitive global projects. Integrating Project Management and Change Management principles, this role will lead efforts to deliver new business processes and technology solutions. Role will oversee project teams, work streams, timeline, quality, and budget for assigned projects. This role will also drive cross-team coordination within the Corporate Functions team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience influencing and directing employees of different disciplines to produce quality results in a timely manner.  


Primary Responsibilities & Activities


  • Develop project timelines and implementation plans to facilitate the delivery of new business processes and technology platforms.
  • Develop and control Project Plans, RAID Logs, RACI, budgets, and activities.
  • Manage Risk across portfolio of projects.
  • Change Management – Partner with business to understand readiness, willingness, and actions needed to create awareness, understanding, adoption, and commitment.
  • Utilize effective change management techniques to ensure project objectives are met by increasing employee adoption and usage.
  • Manage project sponsorship at all levels including executive leadership and other internal and external organizational partnerships.
  • Build cross-functional expertise in the company’s systems, data, and transaction flows by creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Manage the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior management.
  • Track and report on key metrics and communicate findings to the leadership team and the stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices to senior leadership to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change. Work closely with other key initiative leaders for other transformational programs.
  • Partner with functions to define and then deploy a structured Change Management methodology to ensure a smooth transition to new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Cross-Train Business Analysts on Project Management and Change Management principles and align best practices across the Corporate Functions teams.






  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience / education.
  • 10+ years of related experience as a Project or Program Manager  
  • Utilize JELD-WEN PMO methodology and gate review process to drive project success.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, composure is key.
  • A passion for reviewing and enhancing processes.
  • Experience in C-Suite level reporting.
  • Strong technical aptitude for organizational readiness and tactics to generate awareness, understanding, and adoption.
  • Track record of successful organizational Change Management related to IT system implementations or corporate wide change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting in a variety of formal and informal settings, including working cross-functionally in a consultative manner.
  • Project Management Certification preferred - PMP, MPM, CPM, CSM (or like).
