Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst to join our growing team.

The Opportunity: 

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will have a critical role in the preparation and review of the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and reports for US GAAP based financial reporting. 
 

What You Will Do: Other duties may be assigned. 
  

Financial Close and Reporting 
  

• Prepare SEC filings, including the annual report on Form 10-K and quarterly report on Form 10-Q 

• Prepare detailed work papers for assigned areas to support disclosures included in the financial statements and SEC filings (e.g., footnotes, MD&A). 

• Compile and analyze information submitted by foreign subsidiaries for completeness, accuracy and compliance with US GAAP; identify/resolve discrepancies and report financial misstatements in accordance with our accounting policies and SOX controls 

• Assist in the review of quarterly earnings releases and support earnings release process 

• Prepare and support internal and external audit requests for financial statement annual audit and quarterly reviews 

• Independently research and analyze accounting matters and disclosure requirements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Draft relevant documentation supporting conclusions. 

• Contribute to the Company’s interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards 

• Assist in the consolidation, intercompany accounting and elimination process, preparing certain elimination and cash flow journal entries 

• Other reporting as needed 

Other Projects 
  

• Work closely with various business partners to obtain required internal financial reporting information and develop improvements to the reporting process 

• Work with various business partners on continuous optimization of the global record to report process to streamline and shorten the close timeline 

• Improve and maintain documentation and training materials for assigned responsibilities 

• Participate in the enhancements of financial consolidation and reporting software, and implementation of enterprise resource planning as needed 

• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed 

Who You Are:  

• Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) from four-year college or university in finance, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience 

• 2-5 years of public accounting experience 

• Public company reporting experience may substitute for public accounting experience 

• Experience in a multi-national consolidation environment is preferred 

• Prior manufacturing experience is an advantage 

• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles. Understands P&L, balance sheet and cash flow dynamics 

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Advanced working knowledge of Spreadsheet software such as MS Excel 

• The position requires strong interpersonal communication skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Experience with SAP, and OneStream is an advantage 

• CPA or MBA desirable
