Sr. Financial Analyst

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our growing team. 

THE ROLE

The Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A will support North America by providing analysis of financial results, monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of plant level productivity analysis, including detailed manufacturing productivity walks.
• Support the Excess & Obsolete inventory review process to help improve working capital performance.
• Help validate Transformation initiatives savings through bridging type analysis and the use of automated tools such as Power BI. Ensure transformation initiatives are properly included in forecasts and budgets.
• Understand the IBP - Integrated Business Planning process, and support adjustments and analysis as needed.
• Prepare centralized OneStream financial system loads to increase efficiency and reduce process waste regarding forecasts and budgets loads.
• Support special projects, including data gathering, cost & price analysis, Capex, ROI, NPV, price-volume-mix analysis and other ad hoc analysis as required.
• Provide support to business unit operations and finance staff on a regular basis.
• Work closely with North America FP&A group on reporting requirements to ensure consistency across businesses and support corporate reporting requirements.
• Coordinate Windows and Doors Groups forecasting and budgeting requirements.  Help develop more efficient processes and tools to prepare and report on forecasts and budgets.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline required.
• MBA and / or CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience, experience at a manufacturing business strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles.  Understands P&L, balance sheet and cash flow dynamics.
• Experience with consolidation tools strongly preferred.
• Solid Power Point and Excel skills.  Power BI, Qlikview, HFM or OneStream experience beneficial
• Excellent business acumen and sound financial understanding of what drives performance, along with the ability to communicate numeric and financial information to non-Finance stakeholders
• The ability to thrive in a constantly changing and complex environment and consistently meet tight timelines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage to routine and work remotely without supervision.
