JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr Talent Management Specialist to join our growing team.
The Role
We are seeking a strategic and driven Sr. Talent Management Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting talent development, talent management and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in learning and development and a current focus on driving effective talent strategies and programs that enhance performance, retention, and organizational culture.
In this role, the successful candidate will partner with HR and business leaders to implement JELD-WEN’s talent management processes, including performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, and career development. This candidate will also play a leading role in measuring and improving employee engagement through surveys, action planning, and other programs as part of the JELD-WEN culture roadmap.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with HR and business leaders to implement talent strategies that support workforce planning, succession planning, and career development.
- Facilitate talent reviews and support the development of high-potential employees.
- Analyze talent data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to measure and improve employee engagement, including surveys, action planning, and culture-building programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement programs that foster inclusion, recognition, and employee well-being.
- Leverage L&D expertise to support the design and delivery of development programs aligned with business needs.
- Consult with leaders to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.
- Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives to enhance employee experience.
- Manage cross-functional projects ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee external partnerships as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, or related field
- 4+ years of HR business partner and/or talent management experience, with recent focus on learning & development, talent management, and/or employee engagement
- Proven ability to influence outcomes and negotiate to achieve desired results
- Demonstrated and consistent ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with HR technology platforms and survey tools (e.g., SAP, Qualtrics, etc.)
