JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr Salesforce Administrator to join our growing team.
THE ROLE
As a valued member of the IT team, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for managing the North American instance of Salesforce and making requested changes that come through the business queue. These changes would be everything from testing regular Salesforce updates to custom changes needed to support the ever improving business processes. This person would be expected to provide recommended solutions back to the business with regards to needs that arise. This would include recommendation for improved efficiencies and best practices.
This person will be part of a two person team so it will require team work and good communication with another to coordinate the completion of all projects and updates. They will also be working closely with a third party agency when there is a development need for the platform.
This position will be located in Charlotte North Carolina and reports to the IT Development Lead.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to the corporate mission statement and the mission statement, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of Application Delivery.
- Manage a shared service development environment to support global delivery model for Salesforce
- Manage the delivery of the project time on scope, cost, schedule and quality
- Inform management of new opportunities. Involve external contractors when warranted; define, manage and direct their role.
- Assist sales by developing prototype demonstrations, as well as managing and completing system configurations and setting up users
- Provide technical and functional expertise to project team
- Document and implement configuration changes and data-mapping requirements
- Achieve Salesforce product certifications to successfully advise and direct clients on best practices for both business process and platform optimization
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Content knowledge—Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions; proven understanding of similar enterprise-level applications
- Analytical techniques—Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and helping define test scripts
- System configuration—Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs, and participate in system configuration when necessary
- Project management—Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understands core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods
- Change management and scope control—Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issues’ management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience / education
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce implementing full project lifecycles
- Certified Sales Force Administrator.
- Certified Sales Force Sales cloud consultant; If not certified implementation level experience and training will be considered.

Expected pay for this role is between $82,900.00 to $138,200.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
