JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Service Now Developer to join our growing team.
Sr. ServiceNow Developer
- Architectural and Technical leadership to support JeldWen’s ServiceNow hosted PAAS environments.
- Work with stakeholders and analysts to understand and recommend solutions to meet business requirements.
- Leverage knowledge and experience of Service Management processes to design and deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Understanding and awareness of system dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable.
- Organize and Manage development efforts, including design, testing, migrations, etc.; interfacing with vendors, users, and management as necessary.
- Develop and modify ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components, Web services, tables, menus, client scripts, UI Scripts, ACLs, UI Pages and scripted REST APIs.
- Provide configuration and customization including, but not limited to user interface, workflow administration, reports, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third-party software integrations by applying best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership in solving business processes and/or technical problems during project delivery.
- Experience with Web technologies (SOAP, JSON, XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and Web Services)
- Experience with integration with other external modules, platforms and third-party products as well as encryption capabilities
- Experience working with ServiceNow Integration Hub
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data schema and underlying tables with ACLs for various modules.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and PAAS model with relevance to ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, and MID server.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing configuration and workflows to develop strategies for improving or further integrations leveraging ServiceNow.
- Create and maintain documentation as necessary for comprehensive business processes, operational, security audits, business requirements, technical specifications, and system architects.
- Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring including training and guidance of junior staff and administrators
- Demonstrates behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Qualifications
- Development experience on ServiceNow platform required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area OR equivalent relevant experience
- Successful track record in applying technology to serve business functions.
- Ability to deliver solutions to improve and automate complex and /or critical business processes.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills including creative problem solving, effective written and verbal communications, planned and organized coordination of cross functional teams, acute attention to detail and quality, with the ability to self-manage.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute.
- Ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundations Certification

Expected pay for this role is between $82,900.00 to $138,200.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
