The HRIS team at JELD-WEN is responsible for the day-to-day management of our Human Capital Management Systems and for implementing additional and related 3rd party solutions.  JELD-WEN is looking for a Senior HR Data Management Specialist which is critical to support our HR Strategy and HR Technology roadmap through managing the accuracy and integrity our human resource data and providing HR analytics and reporting to drive business performance.  This role also provides administration support of key HR programs and processes as required in North America.  However, working with and supporting team members in other global regions will occur – Europe, Australia, and Asia.  NOTE – Position will by hybrid initially working remotely and then working in the Charlotte office (located in Ayrsley) 3 days per week.





  • Verify and/or validate employee information related to compensation, terminations, status and position changes, pending new hires and rehired employees, employee transfers, employee personal information and process applicable changes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review/Process transactions in SAP SuccessFactors for employee data changes initiated through Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS)
  • Manage pending hire data from onboarding system and/or work with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition professionals to obtain the required candidate information to create employee records.
  • Provide accurate, consistent and timely responses to reporting inquiries, which are of moderate complexity and may require additional research and analysis. Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns through reporting and process review including data audits.     
  • Manage tickets, monitor tickets, and close tickets within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalate complex tickets as needed using ServiceNow platform.
  • Assist with creating or updating internal training tools and process manuals for team members to maximize the effective use of the SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Provide “white glove” customer service to all stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Global HR Data Management, Corporate HR, functional owners, managers and employees.
  • Manage approval requests in PeoplePoint – verify and validate employee transaction data against rules, and action in line with SLAs.
  • Manage the North America Employee Referral Program from tracking to payment.
  • Handle weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting for standard team reports.
  • Audit global data entry on a regular basis to review data for accuracy and compliance
  • Create and maintain process documentation to ensure smooth and consistent operations across the global HRDM team utilizing Enable Now functionality within Success Factors for simulations, job aids and video guided tours.
  • Work closely with HRIS team to coordinate payment for non-recurring pay components.
  • Research and handle escalations as assigned.
  • Lead stalled workflows reconciliation on a daily basis to ensure workflows within the system are either approved or rejected.
  • Lead mass template uploads working with HR community on data cleansing.
  • Be adaptable to work on projects and perform all other duties as assigned, including but not limited to supporting the HR transformation journey and continuous improvement of our processes and service model to the business.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant field is required or equivalent relevant years of direct experience.  Additional education or training in Human Resource Management or Data Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors or other large HRIS systems (PeopleSoft, Workday) is preferred.
  • Four plus (4+) years of direct experience in data management that includes high-volume data processing, generating reports, and utilizing report writing tools.
  • Knowledge of data/records management practices.
  • Knowledge of human resources process and best practices and applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in human resources information systems.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work both independently, within a team, and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to self-manage key deliverables and deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented with a technical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
