TITLE: Sales Analyst – National Accounts
SUMMARY:
The Sales Analyst for National Accounts is a key role to support the JELD-WEN North American Traditional Sales organization. This role will engage with National Account Directors and VP of National Accounts to provide analysis and insight on key aspects of the National Accounts including, but not limited to sales & order tracking, demand forecasting, opportunity management, customer POS & inventory. This role will also be assigned special projects to drive process standardization and improvements across the organization. This role will report to the Manager within the Sales Operations team, functionally supporting the National Accounts team.
Position will be based in Charlotte, NC with approximately 10% travel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require:
- Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and YTD reporting on sales and orders performance vs. budget, forecast, and PY.
- Engagement with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand planners to align demand forecast with customer and sales team expectations.
- Work directly with National Accounts to understand POS and inventory analytics and integrate withing standard reporting described above.
- Work with Salesforce.com team to build dashboards and reports to support National Account team needs, including strategy plan tracking and opportunity management.
- Communicate and present insights based on sales, order, and POS data and make recommendations on mix by geography to drive profitable growth.
- Collaborate with IT on projects related to data integration and process improvements to facilitate better data analytics, recommendations, and decision making.

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical skills and background with a mastery of Microsoft Excel; ability to analyze data from customers, internal ERP, and finance in a systematic way. PowerBI, QlikView, SalesForce.com, and Tableau experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong business acumen; ability to understand strategic vision and translate into actionable objectives.
- Ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding culture and work across functional barriers.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must to communicate effectively with management, coworkers and customers.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Be able to work under deadline pressure and meet the deadlines.
- Recognize discrepancies in written/recorded data/information.
- Able to work with more than one project/responsibility simultaneously.
- Ability to travel within the United States (~10%)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- 2 - 5 years of experience in sales/finance analytics
- Building materials, specifically millwork related experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with Salesforce.com, QlikView, PowerBI, and Tableau preferred but not required.
