JELD-WEN is currently seeking a SR National Account Manager to join our growing team.


Summary: Responsible for increasing sales, profitability and market share of exterior door products, Pro and install programs with Lowe’s in the United Sates.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 


  • The primary function of this role is to drive new business opportunities, profitable growth and to be the primary contact for Lowe’s exterior doors, Pro and install merchants.
  • Work with Lowe’s national and regional teams to develop and execute in store, special order, pro and installation programs. In conjunction, align with the JELD-WEN cross-functional teams and field sales team to support and execute programs.
  • Develop, recommend, and present strategies and programs to increase brand presence and assortment.
  • Recommend initial pricing and rebate structures for new opportunities.
  • Achieve sales plans and realize market share targets by creating and executing business plans that align with goals.
  • Analyze metrics and tools to identify new opportunities and strategies to drive business. Monitor and adjust programs as needed to maximize close rates.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Line Managers, Marketing, IT, Operations, Customer Service, Finance and Sales teams to support business growth.
  • Project manages internal and external resources to complete growth initiatives on time, in scope and within budget.
  • Work with category management and PLMs to develop programs that meet customer metrics while driving profitable growth for JELD-WEN.
  • Manage the sales and service required to ensure all aspects of the market segment are handled promptly and efficiently.
  • Research current customer trends and best practices to gain efficiencies where applicable and to keep up with ever-changing customer expectations.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to provide direction/guidance on how to win business relative to competition. Be a product, services, and installations expert.
  • Work with eCommerce account manager and marketing to develop ecommerce strategy to drive continued improvement, interconnected solutions, and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the business including channel strategy, product line reviews, promotional planning, product road mapping / differentiation, data analytics, profitability analysis, marketing / commercialization, and demand planning.
  • Work with category management and finance to develop financial proformas to make key business decisions.
  • Review contracts, customer setup documentation, and rebate structures with leadership and legal department




  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of ten years related sales experience and/or training preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to lead sales and cross-functional teams in product line review preparation and strategy. This includes gathering and accessing competitive activity, line structures, product gaps, POS data, VOC, etc. required to make data-based recommendations that are a win for both JELD-WEN and Lowe’s.
  • Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills. Has the courage to have tough discussions and come to a solution that works for the customer and JELD-WEN.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Customer Relationship Management software, Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser.
  • 5+ years of Home Center, Millwork and door industry experience is preferred.
  • Position will be 60% in office and 40% remote when not traveling.
  • Travel required: Approximately 25%
