Position Summary

 

SAP Development Lead / Sr Developer is a key member of the team responsible for the design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of the Global JELD-WEN SAP Enterprise Resource Planning solution. Collaborates with a diverse Global ERP and IT group as well as Corporate and Regional business teams to achieve strategic goals and objectives by developing a world-class solution as promised on time and budget.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze and develop the technical application design, construction and implementation activities for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms as well as Workflows in SAP.
  • Ownership on development templates and documents required throughout the project.
  • Provide quality control and ownership over all development activities and deliverable products.
  • Communicate with all project teams on Development-related activities.
  • Provide strong mentorship to junior developers (internal employees and external contractors) on-site as well as offshore.
  • Ensure completeness of development deliverables which includes program delivery, testing and documentation.

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Global full life cycle SAP Enterprise Resource Planning implementations.
  • Mastery of ABAP technologies such as the Development Workbench, SAP Web IDE, DDIC objects, Core Date Services (CDS) , SAP API, BAPI, BADI, ALV Grids,  Migration Object Modeler and Adobe Forms
  • Working experience in the Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Domains of SAP.
  • Expert Knowledge and hands-on skills with SAP IDOC, BAPI/RFC and the various SAP middleware tools such as PI and PO etc.
  • Strong experience with object-oriented programming 
  • ABAP Screen Programming Technology like RF Screen Programming in WM and EWM areas, WebDynpro in MDG and Transport Management Area
  • Experience in integration domains (EAI - Enterprise Application Integration, SOA - Service-oriented Architecture, EDI - Electronic Data Interchange, ETL - Extraction, Transformation and Loading, MFT - Managed File Transfer)
  • Good knowledge of new SAP technologies such as Fiori Ui5, ODATA Services and HANA.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflicts; handle shifting priorities in a flexible manner.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Influence, collaboration, and expectation management to work with Global Information Technology and business teams to deliver expected results.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SAP PIPO, CPIDS.
  • Understanding AIF framework.
  • Understanding SAP Solution Manager (CHARM)
  • Multi foreign language skills are a plus.
