JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Program & Events Manager to join our growing team. 

 

THE ROLE

The Programs and Events Manager plays an important role on our marketing team, leading the development and execution of marketing programs within the traditional channel. This role ensures maximum visibility and engagement across sales and our channel partners, fostering brand loyalty and driving revenue. In addition, this position will spearhead event management and oversee the new Sapphire Circle program, focusing on results and incentives in the Windows Market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Programs Management: Oversee all Traditional Channel Programs, including the TrueBlu Go-To-Market Program managing CO-OP, Display Subsidies, VIP Events, and localized rebate structures.
  • Event Management Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of all events, including 'tradeshow in a box', large-scale industry events, and localized gatherings, ensuring each is impactful and aligns with overall marketing goals.
  • Sapphire Circle Program Oversight: Drive the new Sapphire Circle program, focusing on results-oriented strategies and incentives with OSRs in the Windows Market.
  • Agency Management: Manage the relationship, budget and cost structures with third-party vendors used for both programs and events management. 
  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop and implement analytics to measure program effectiveness, providing stakeholders with detailed reports on key performance indicators and ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, merchandising and channel teams to launch and refine programs and events that motivate and engage channel partners.
  • Communication and Promotion: Effectively communicate and promote initiatives to maximize sales potential to channel partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Program Budget Management: Manage and own program budgeting, forecasting, assets, and inventory, ensuring all financial activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and improve relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collect and utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback for continuous improvement of our programs, maintaining a “Best in Class” standard.
  • Trend Analysis: Investigate emerging trends and the competitive landscape, sharing insights to keep ahead of the competition.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years in channel marketing, project management, programs, or events management.
  • Proven experience managing complex, large industry shows and third-party vendors.
  • Experience with Traditional Channel CO-OP programs is advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills and self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact across organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking with supporting analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to change with innovative solutions, while adhering to tight deadlines and budgets.
  • High-energy, motivated self-starter with a proven ability to negotiate with vendors for optimal arrangements.
