JELD-WEN is currently seeking an National Account Manager to join our growing team.

 

 

The Opportunity

Responsible for achieving sales growth and multi-line penetration of all company products by working closely with assigned accounts and internal resources across Jeld-wen, including, but not limited to other sales teams, product line managers, operations facilities, and management. The National Account Manager should own and manage all aspects of the relationship between Jeld-wen distribution and the assigned account. Account assignment could include Lowe’s.

 

What You Will Do

  • Specialize in sales, management, and service to an assigned customer.
  • Develop sales plans to achieve volume targets within defined expense budgets.
  • Communicate with account leadership, purchasing and operations regarding performance of existing programs, implementation of new programs, and new opportunities, while coordinating opportunities across Jeld-wen.
  • Be a products, service and installation knowledge expert.
  • Improve and update marketing efforts regularly and assist in the development of all Point of Purchase (POP) for specific product lines.
  • Provide weekly updates of all actions and issues to company operations and sales departments.
  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer skills needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software, Quick Quote, M2O, Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser.
  • Bachelor’s degree or or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in the window and door industry.

Expected pay for this role is between $95,000.00 to $158,300.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
