JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Manager of Early Career Programs to join our growing team.

 

The Opportunity

 

As a Early Career Programs Lead at JELD-WEN, you will contribute to the overall success of the Talent Development team through program management, administration, and people development for the Early Career Programs Team. As a member of the Talent Development team, you will serve as a consultative business partner and have experience in creative development strategies, creation and execution of Accelerated Leadership Development Rotational Programs, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding metrics and delivering results, and knowledge of basic HR policies, procedures, & employment policy.     

 

This is a hybrid role and must maintain designated days per week on-site at our Charlotte, NC global headquarters.

 

What You Will Do

  • Lead and execute all components of JELD-WEN’s Early Career Rotational Program (ECRP), creating a positive Associate, manager, and business experience
  • Design and implement an Early Career Programs strategy, identifying growth opportunities and measure impact and ROI, manage program budget
  • Design and facilitate early career development opportunities, creating a robust training and development curriculum for each stage of the program journey
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to identify rotation assignments and managers, understand business needs in each function, and have a high level view of functional workforce planning
  • Partner with rotation managers to create an exceptional rotation experience that is meaningful for the ECRP Associate, impactful for the manager, and supportive of critical business needs
  • Serve as a coach, resource, and advisor to ECRP Associates and Managers; facilitating training and meeting 1:1 on a regular cadence for professional development and feedback conversations
  • Champion Early Career Talent by partnering with University Relations Program Lead as needed with recruitment efforts, interviewing, and UR strategy design and execution
  • Lead a small team of direct reports and manage all rotational program associate employee activities, provide coaching and development/feedback conversations

 

Who You Are

  • At least 5 years experience managing HR programs and leading people
  • Demonstrated success managing accelerated leadership development programs
  • Experience building relationships with HR Business Partners, Senior Leadership, and Business Leaders
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
