JELD-WEN is currently seeking an Manager, NA FP&A to join our growing team.
THE ROLE
As our FP&A Manager, you will lead key financial planning and analysis activities for North America, including forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, and business insights. This role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, playing a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing decision-making through data-driven insights. You will lead the development and enhancement of financial reporting processes, oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles, and manage the delivery of consolidated financial insights across the business.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Corporate FP&A and cross-functional leaders to lead the development and implementation of standardized financial reporting, planning processes, and KPIs. Leverage financial systems to drive insights and actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned departments or business units, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards that provide clear and concise business performance insights to senior management.
- Provide strategic financial analysis on business trends, investment opportunities, cost efficiencies, and profitability drivers.
- Manage the consolidation and validation of budgets and forecasts across departments, ensuring accuracy, alignment with corporate goals, and clear communication of results.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across FP&A processes and systems to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Lead YOY and variance analysis for revenue, cost, and EBITDA, including bridging and narrative development for key stakeholders.
- Own and manage the FP&A calendar to ensure timely delivery of recurring deliverables and ad hoc requests.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts or cross-functional partners as needed, fostering financial acumen and data literacy.
- Perform ad hoc strategic and operational analyses in response to evolving business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and present to senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strategic thinker and proactive problem solver who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance roles
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, OneStream) preferred
- Power BI or similar analytics tool experience strongly preferred
