JELD-WEN is looking for an experienced HR Technology Manager who will lead the team responsible for the day-to-day system configuration, maintenance, and enhancements, including change control, testing, training, and technical support of various HR Technology solutions, most notably SuccessFactors.  This will be a vital role in continued development of our Global multi-module HR Technology support model. This role is responsible for understanding system integration points and downstream effects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow and develop a diverse and high-performing team
  • Lead HRIS team responsibilities including system support, enhancements, global processes and data modeling
  • Be the hands-on SuccessFactors expert across modules seeking ways to improve and optimize our use of the platform
  • Optimize and elevate quality, efficiency, performance and scalability of HR systems, processes and teams globally to further automate the employee journey
  • Responsible for understanding system integration points and downstream effects
  • Drives root cause analysis, providing guidance, and making decisions on courses of action. 
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance employee experience and processes, as well as to improve the capabilities, fill the gaps of existing systems
  • Deliver self-service experience to employees and managers; monitor system adoption and user feedback; develop processes, tools, support materials, and training to further support and drive a great user experience
  • Lead departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, enhancing, and maintaining a best-in-class application team
  • Manage the performance of the HR Management System, change control process, and associated processes
  • Make decisions using benefit and risk assessments for system enhancements, changes, and implementation
  • Drive enhancements in HR systems that support efficiencies in HR and business processes
  • Responsible for proper controls and auditing for compliance, including SOX requirements, system security and global data privacy

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8+ years experience working on HRIS and HR technology systems across the employee life cycle, including recruiting, talent management, compensation, etc.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience managing a team
  • Solid understanding of HR, and how the HR systems are impacted by Payroll, Finance and business processes
  • Proven ability to translate business needs and requirements to actionable information usable in system configuration
  • Experience working with HR reporting through HRIS systems or other reporting tools such as Power BI, QlikView or Tableau
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a wide cross-section of business leaders/functions
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams internally and externally
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proactive approach to process improvement and automation
  • Strong project management skills

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

  • History of successful implementations and maintenance of HR Technology, preferably SAP Success Factors Suite
  • HR, Payroll or Project Management certifications.
